A Washougal man was killed in a head-on collision on the State Freeway 14 roundabout on Washougal River Street and a Vancouver man was injured on Wednesday.
The deadly crash was reported round 9:45 a.m.
A 2016 Honda Accord drove west on Freeway 14 at Milepost 16 and pulled into the roundabout on Washougal River Street.
The Honda driver, recognized as 60-year-old Michael L. Merwin, was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The opposite driver, recognized as Thomas D. Wright, 64, was injured and brought to the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Middle in Vancouver. Each have been buckled up, it says within the crash memo.
Wright was listed in passable situation on Thursday morning, in line with a hospital spokesman.
It was not identified whether or not medicine or alcohol have been concerned, the troopers mentioned.
Each automobiles have been totaled and towed away, the State Patrol mentioned.
