Verla Jean (Bailey) Hart 1928-2021 | Obituaries
Verla Jean Bailey Hart, 92, died peacefully on April 26, 2021 of problems from dementia. Verla was born on September 22, 1928 at dwelling in Urbana, Kansas, to Beulah Coder and Levi Hodson Bailey. She graduated from Chanute Excessive Faculty in 1946.
She married Floyd J. Hart in 1948. They moved to Portland Oregon shortly after their marriage. They farmed in Petrolia from 1954 to 1964 and returned to the Portland space for the remainder of their lives. She served as Government Secretary for Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon and retired from SEH America Vancouver, WA in 1993.
She leaves behind her daughters Connie Brennan from Hillsboro, Nancy Hart and Laura Smith (Van) from Portland; and grandsons, Lindsey Orcutt, Harrison Steinbrecher and Samuel Smith from Portland and Johanna Steinbrecher from NYC. Her husband Floyd and daughter Barbara preceded them in demise. Reminiscences of the Alzheimer’s Basis.
