Vancouver Waterfront Park event to mark 9/11 20th anniversary

An occasion to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 assault can be held at Vancouver Waterfront Park.

The ceremony is hosted by the Metropolis of Vancouver and the Neighborhood Army Appreciation Committee (CMAC) and contains the Vancouver Hearth and Police Honor Guard, musical performances, a ceremonial bell ringing, Vancouver Veterans of International Wars rifle salute, a splash of water show on the Columbia River by the Vancouver Hearth Division’s Discovery fireboat; and a launch of pigeons from a WWII boat on the Columbia River.
