Vancouver police make arrest in sexual motivation burglaries | Local News

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) – Vancouver police made an arrest after two girls stated somebody broke into their properties and groped them in two separate incidents.

The primary incident occurred on June 3, round 3:45 a.m. Officers responded to a break-in at Block 13600 on Southeast Eastridge Drive. In line with police, an unidentified man entered the sufferer’s house via an unlocked or open door and fingered it whereas she slept. The sufferer screamed and the suspect escaped.

At round 1:15 a.m. on June 4, officers responded to a break-in at Block 700 on Southeast 139th Avenue. Police stated an unknown man entered the sufferer’s house via an unlocked or open door, uncovered himself and fingered the sufferer. One other lady within the condo and the sufferer fended off the suspect, who then fled the scene.

In one of many incidents, the police grabbed the burglar’s masks, in keeping with the police. This masks was picked up by the police and despatched to the Washington State Crime Lab for expedited processing. On Thursday, the lab contacted the Vancouver Police Division with the knowledge that the DNA on the recovered masks matched the profile of Benjamin Jerome T. White, 21, from Vancouver.

White was tracked down by detectives, interviewed, and subsequently arrested, and booked into the Clark County Jail for double first diploma housebreaking and triple indecent liberties.
