Suspect in deadly Vancouver hit-and-run arrested by deputies | Local News

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) – A 21-year-old driver accused of beating and killing a person in Vancouver earlier this month was arrested Friday, police stated.

Harley Anderson is charged with car homicide, hit-and-run, and third diploma driving whereas suspended.

At 8:25 pm on Friday, brokers from the Clark County Sheriff’s Workplace arrested Anderson after responding to a reported car theft on the intersection of Northeast twenty ninth Avenue and Northeast a hundred and seventieth Road.

The stolen car was stopped by MPs and Anderson was a passenger.

Anderson is accused hit a pedestrian on the night of September 2nd and kill killing.

The sufferer was recognized as Thomas Sawyer, 56, by Vancouver police on Saturday.

Sawyer was pronounced useless on the scene of the accident.

Vancouver Police discovered the suspicious car, a silver or tan GMC Envoy, the day after the crash.
