Sandra Gail (Buholzer) Krantz, 79, a longtime resident of Sharon, handed away peacefully on Saturday morning, August 21, 2021, at High quality of Life Providers, New Citadel.

Sandy was born on August 28, 1941 in Sharon, the daughter of William and Helene (Pisegna) Buholzer. She graduated from Farrell Excessive College in 1959, later graduated from Farrell Creative Magnificence College and attended Penn State College, Shenango Valley Campus.

As a self-employed beautician, Sandy ran the “Sandra Krantz Magnificence Store” from her dwelling in Sharon for a few years and retired in July 2019. She additionally traveled to motionless senior purchasers and labored on the tHAIRepy salon that her daughter, Jill owned and operated.

Sandy was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Sharon.

She had a lifelong ardour for serving to others and actively volunteered for the next native organizations: a tutor / coach on the Laubach literacy program; as a toddler advocate for Mercer Co. CASA; a volunteer and board member of West Hill After College Ministry. Sandy additionally assisted within the workplace of Sharon’s TIPTAPTOE Dance College, which her daughter Laura owns and runs.

Sandy leaves behind two daughters, Laura (Joe) Carnuche, New Wilmington; and Jill Kridler, Norfolk, VA; 4 grandchildren, Ashleigh (Amos Higgins) Powell, Vancouver, WA; Dylan (Rebecca) Powell, Pittsburgh, PA; Zachary (Amanda) Tobey, Mayok, NC; and Ian (Victoria) Tobey, Chesapeake, VA; 5 great-grandchildren, Ava and Mariska Kiraly; and Hunter, Finley and Foster Tobey; two nieces, Wendy (Frank) McGurk and Heidi Jachim; two great-nephews, Jonathan “Jack” and Nicolas McGurk; and 4 nice nieces, Lily, Arden, Camille and Paige Jachim.

Along with her dad and mom, Sandy was preceded in dying by a sister, Cheryl Buholzer Giba; and a son-in-law, James “Frank” Kridler.

Sandy’s selfless and devoted nature is deeply missed by her household and mates.
