Pedestrian struck, killed while walking across I-205 in Vancouver

A 44-year-old man from Vancouver was hit and killed late Wednesday evening whereas strolling on Interstate 205 close to the Mill Plain Boulevard interchange, in keeping with the Washington State Patrol.

In accordance with a Washington State Patrol bulletin, the person was within the northbound lanes and was crossing from proper shoulder to left shoulder at about 10:37 p.m. when hit by a 2011 Chrysler 300 pushed by Benjamin Moldovan, 42, was pushed out of Brush Prairie.

The pedestrian, whose identify was withheld till the following of kin have been notified, was pronounced lifeless on the scene. Nobody was injured in Moldova’s automobile, the bulletin stated.
