New Hotel Indigo to open in New Orleans : Business Traveler USA

The popular hotel brand will be the second of the Big Easy when it opens later in the year

IHG Hotels and Resorts opens his second Hotel Indigo in New Orleans later that year.

The Hotel Indigo New Orleans – French Quarter will be located in the city’s central business district and will offer 143 rooms on ten floors, including a fitness center, a bar and restaurant of common interest and “several meeting rooms”.

The hotel is located on St. Charles Avenue, home to the oldest continuous tram line in the world.

It will join the existing Hotel Indigo New Orleans Garden District (also on St. Charles Avenue about 1.5 miles south of the future property).

The Hotel Indigo The brand was launched in 2004 and currently has around 130 properties in over 15 countries, including recently opened in Cyprus, Madrid and Brussels.

There are around 100 hotels in the brand’s pipeline, including the recently announced Hotel Indigo Exeter. America has 29 hotel indigo properties under development, including hotels in Vancouver, Washington, Omaha and Houston. The 128-room Indigo NYC Downtown – Wall Street hotel is also due to open in the fall.
