Kenneth W. Quinlan, 73, handed away on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at his house within the Sauk Heart, MN. At a later date there shall be a personal household celebration of his life. Williams Dingmann Household Funeral Properties, Stein Chapel was entrusted with the preparations.
Kenneth, “Ken”, was born June 8, 1948 to William and Jean (Carpenter) Quinlan in New Haven, CT. After graduating from highschool, he joined the US Navy. He served from September 1967 to September 1968 within the Vietnamese Mekong Delta with the River Part-535 of the CTF-116 River Patrol Forces as a crew member on board the PBR 727. Throughout his service he was awarded the Fight Motion Ribbon and the Purple Coronary heart. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, he joined the US Navy Reserve and served in San Diego, California. He grew to become a sergeant within the US Air Pressure and was honorably discharged in 1974. He then served as a sergeant within the CA Nationwide Guard till 1982. He attended San Diego Neighborhood School and earned a level in psychology and sociology. He met Diane Hefferan in Ocean Seashore, CA and so they have been married on October 3, 1986 in Richfield, MN.
Ken was a self-employed painter. He loved touring together with his spouse and youngsters to go to household and pals in Connecticut, Maine, Florida, and California. In 1995 he moved to the Sauk Heart together with his household. In 1996 he retired.
Ken was identified for driving round city in his van or convertible, typically delivering goodies from the bakery to a particular handful of individuals. And naturally all the time in shorts and a denim jacket. He all the time seemed ahead to his Wednesday evening card video games within the bear lure with the boys. Ken loved studying and retained an incredible stage of data. He was all the time the primary to reply the hardest Jeopardy questions. Most of all, Ken beloved hanging out together with his spouse, youngsters, and grandchildren. Everybody who knew him will certainly miss his humorousness and intelligent jumps.
Ken is survived by his spouse Diane; Sons, Kenneth Jr. “Beau” from San Diego, CA and David (Amanda) from Monticello, MN; Daughters, Carrie Ann (Tim) Melton from Gold Canyon, AZ and Christine (Michael) Stein from Villard, MN; Daughter-in-law Yayoi Quinlan of San Diego, California; Sister and brothers, Wendy Pannone from Colchester, CT, Don Quinlan from Vancouver, WA, and David Quinlan from Sumner, ME; and grandsons Christian, Evan and Natalie Quinlan.
His dad and mom preceded him in demise; Aunt Helen Dwyer, sisters-in-law Debbie Quinlan, Karen Hefferan and Paula Hefferan, brother-in-law Dave Hefferan and cousin Patty Dwyer whom he all the time thought-about his guardian angel.
