Jamie Palm Obituary (1956 – 2021) – Everett, WA

Jamie Palm died in his sleep on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

She was born on September 18, 1956 at Fort Lawton Military Hospital in Seattle, WA. Weighing in at 1 pound 13.5 oz, she made nationwide headlines when she survived at that weight. Jamie was born to Fred Leon Bowen and Joyce Elaine Ness and was the eldest of seven siblings. She leaves behind her 35-year-old husband Dennis Palm, daughters LynnAnn Ozturk & Lynnette Fortier and her 4 grandchildren Leyla & Ali Ozturk and Austin & Michael Fortier. She can also be survived by her siblings Joni Bowen, Jim Bowen, Jody Heinbaugh, Cristi Papen, and Tony Bowen. Her youngest sister, Tami Wells, who was very near Jamie, preceded her in dying on October 24, 2017.

Jamie loved serving to individuals and spending time with their household. She and Dennis lived in Dolan Springs, AZ for a number of years in an uncommon octagonal home they designed and constructed themselves. In 2003, they moved again to Everett to be round their daughter and assist with the delivery of their first grandchild, Leyla. She loved touring round america, spending time along with her sister Jody in Idaho and having fun with time along with her brother Jim in Vancouver, WA.

As an achieved auditor & inspector at Boeing, she labored there for round 20 years. Round 2010 she traveled to the Netherlands for a while to work for Fokker-Elmo and the Dutch Air Pressure on the P8 surveillance plane. Her duties included auditors, auditors and help in electrical engineering. Over time, Boeing lured her again to the Everett facility to work on a number of packages till her well-deserved retirement.

For the previous few years, Jamie has struggled along with her well being. She was vigorous and a really beloved a part of her household. It’s with deep sorrow that we bid farewell to our dearest spouse, beloved mom, grandmother and sister. We are going to miss you eternally.

A memorial service can be held within the Purdy-Walters Gardens within the Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 12:00 midday.
