James Alan Lakoduk of Publish Falls, ID, died on July 20, 2021 on the Kootenai Memorial Hospital in Coeur D’Alene, ID. His love for his household and pals was unconditional and we are going to all miss him.

Born in Minot, ND in 1937, he was the second of 5 kids of Peter Jaye Lakoduk and Molly (Dobowey) Lakoduk. In 1942 the household moved to Vancouver, WA and in 1950 to Coulee Metropolis, WA. Alan graduated from Coulee Metropolis Excessive Faculty in 1956 and married his highschool mistress, Yvonne L. Miller, in 1957. As Alan superior in his profession with Washington State Parks, they made themselves at residence in quite a few areas. They primarily raised their sons on the mountain. Alan leaves behind his 63-year-old spouse, Yvonne Lucille (Miller) Lakoduk; two sons Stanley Miller and David R. Lakoduk; three grandchildren, Kalen J. Lakoduk, Alana S. Medcalf, McCauley C. Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren, Wyatt D. Medcalf, Ava M. Medcalf, James A. Lakoduk III, and Ruby Pleasure Lakoduk; and a brother, Larry L. Lakoduk, who all cherished him past measure.

His mother and father and son James A. Lakoduk Jr., brothers Peter V. Lakoduk, David R. Lakoduk, and sister Patricia G. Lakoduk preceded Alan in demise.

Alan’s funeral will happen on August 14 at 10:30 am at Norm and Tracy Waldo’s property, 27769 W. Hwy. 53 Hauser, ID 83854. After the service there will likely be a potluck on web site.
