Helicopter drops water as blaze burns through 166 acres in west Vancouver | Local News

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) – Firefighters responded to a bushfire that burned 150 acres in West Vancouver on Tuesday afternoon, in response to the Vancouver Hearth Division.

By Tuesday night, the hearth close to the 4800 block of Fruit Valley Highway and La Frambois Highway was 95 p.c contained, and crews have been on website inside six minutes of the hearth first being reported, firefighters stated.

16 items and 34 staff labored to regulate the hearth, with the Division of Pure Assets utilizing a helicopter to place a number of drops of water on the fast-moving flames.

In line with the Vancouver Hearth Division, crews have been already engaged on a bushfire alongside the Burnt Bridge Creek Path and a number of other different incidents when that fireplace was cleared.
