Giving Closet offers more than clothes
The giving closet
• What: Free garments and home items for impoverished households.
• The place: 2804 NE sixty fifth Ave., Items A and B, Vancouver.
• Donation occasions: Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to three:30 p.m.
• Opening occasions: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am for folks with surnames starting with R to Z; 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for the surnames A to I; 2:30 p.m. to three:30 p.m. for the final names J to Q. Open on Tuesdays solely by appointment.
• First-time guests: Deliver picture ID and the social safety numbers of all family members.

Flowers of affection
• Required donations: Vases, vessels that could possibly be used for preparations, baskets (ideally white), ribbons, silk blooms, tulle, floral wire, corsage ribbon, false jewellery, sackcloth or string, wire cutters, needle-nosed pliers, small secateurs, pins, floral foam, pipe cleaners, Raffia, cable ties, flower glue, stretch bracelets for corsages.
