Corabelle V (Stepp, Edwards) Glidden was born on March 12, 1928 in Portland, Oregon, to William Elbert Stepp and Clara Helen Walker Stepp. “Cora” died of pure causes on November 2, 2020 in Longview, Washington. Cora was the fourth of seven kids. Her brothers James Nathan, Bart Argonne, Ivan E, Kenneth William, John Nemiah, and her sister Marilee Stepp Chandler all preceded her in loss of life. The Stepp household got here from Missouri and traveled extensively within the early years of the States: Michigan, Idaho, and Oregon. They returned and settled in Ryderwood, Washington, to finish the household upbringing. Cora graduated from Ryderwood Excessive Faculty in 1946 and married the late Clyde Owen Edwards on September 21, 1946. That they had two kids collectively. Throughout their marriage, Cora and Clyde traveled the Pacific Northwest to work, with stops in Elk Metropolis, Idaho, Citadel Rock, Washington, and finally settled in Woodland, Washington in 1960. Cora and Clyde divorced in 1969. Cora met Willis. know and later married Henry Glidden on June 22, 1973 till his loss of life on March 15, 1999. Cora labored as a phone operator, financial institution clerk and waitress. She was a longtime affiliate at Oak Tree and Whimpy’s eating places in Woodland, Washington. She was even ready for music legend Johnny Money when his tour bus stopped for lunch at some point. Cora liked tending her backyard, crocheting, stitching, enjoying playing cards, puzzles and touring with Willis. Cora leaves behind her kids: Carrie Jean (Edwards, Baker) Slusher (Ron) and James Owen (Edwards) St. Germain (Nancy), stepchildren: Sandra (Glidden) Church (Greg), Doug Glidden (Annanissa), and Terry Glidden, seventeen grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, together with many nieces, nephews, their kids and grandchildren. The Celebration of Life takes place on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Promise Church, 101 Hillshire Drive, Woodland, Washington. at 1:00 p.m.
