Born on August 9, 1925 in Herndon, WV, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Dominick and Marie Massara Fontana.
Carolyn was retired on the Fayette County Board of Training and was additionally a secretary and accountant for the Troitino Coal Firm.
She was a lifelong resident of Mount Hope, a 1944 Mount Hope Excessive Faculty Class graduate, and a member of the Mount Hope Methodist Church. Till her early 90s, she loved adorning her dwelling and taking good care of her garden and flower gardens.
Carolyn was the spouse of Frank G. Troitino, who preceded her in 2003 in demise.
