On Sunday, July eleventh, 2021 we stated goodbye to Carolyn Diane Becker in tears on the age of 67.
Carolyn battled ovarian most cancers valiantly for 4 years earlier than dying at her residence in Clark County, Washington. Carolyn spent her ultimate moments within the loving arms of her devoted husband David, holding her son Jeremy’s hand. Carolyn is a beloved mom, spouse, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and good friend.
Carolyn was born on October 27, 1953 in Vancouver, Washington. In 1963 she moved to Napa, California with mother and father Carol and Vance Tourville, the place she spent most of her childhood and attended Napa Excessive Faculty. In 1979 she moved again to Vancouver, the place shortly after her return she met the love of her life David R. Becker and remained inseparable till her dying.
Carolyn had many pursuits and hobbies. She cherished making marriage ceremony attire and formal dance attire for household and pals. Carolyn is understood to be style aware with a love, if not an obsession for lovely footwear. Carolyn has proven herself at her greatest each day.
Carolyn cherished designing and landscaping her 20-acre backyard. Throughout the spring and summer time months, Carolyn usually spent the time visiting numerous nurseries and taking residence lovely species of crops and timber. She spent numerous hours trimming the panorama on her lawnmower together with her Burmese mountain canine, Bentley.
Carolyn cherished touring together with her husband David, and so they usually did. From cruises to Alaska and airplanes to Hawaii to annual RV journeys to Yellowstone and tons of journeys to Disneyland.
Carolyn has at all times made the vacations additional particular. Christmas was her favourite vacation and she or he spent a whole month bringing the Christmas cheer into her residence, in and out. It wasn’t unusual to see her on a really tall ladder adorning her 14 inch tree, or exterior with hanging lights on her timber and at residence.
She leaves behind her loving husband David Becker Jr., her son Jeremy and her daughter-in-law Brooke Becker and her stepdaughter Maria Weitz, the grandchildren of son-in-law Jack Weitz Leif, Gage and Oliver. Her mom Carol Tourville, her sisters Madonna Cochran, Roberta Bernhardt and Debra Jarrell and two brothers, Sam and Brian Tourville and their spouses. She will even be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and their loyal canine Bentley and their two cats Naughty and Good.
Carolyn had a particular request that every one attendees in her service and celebration of life put on lighter colours. Service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 14809 NE 259th Avenue Battle Floor, WA 98604 on Wednesday, July 21 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers also needs to be despatched to this tackle. Carolyn cherished flowers.
After the service at 4:00 p.m. there will probably be a celebration of life in Alderbrook Park. All are welcome.
