Amazing History Race – BikePortland.org

Vancouver, WA – Bike Clark County and the Clark County Historical Museum (CCHM) are hosting the first annual Amazing History Race: Downtown Vancouver Edition on Get Outdoors Day, Saturday, June 12, 2021. Racers and riders will have an exciting day downtown enjoy Vancouver, solve puzzles and uncover our local history.

Would you like to know the secret stories hidden in the architecture of local buildings? Do you consider yourself a master of riddles and riddles? Are you interested in discovering your local history? Then visit Bike Clark County and CCHM for a day of fun and discovery. The Amazing History Race event and fundraiser provide a fun, family-friendly exploration of downtown Vancouver that includes education and exercise. Racers or drivers will be given clues that will guide them through downtown Vancouver in search of answers, discovering the historical hidden gems and local stories of our community.

The event will consist of four heats: Historical Family Fun $ 40, History Buff $ 50, Hardcore Historian $ 65, and Team History $ 125. There are also stand-alone youth tickets available at the History Buff level (History Buff Teen – $ 30 and History Buff Jr. – $ 20). The racers and drivers who cross the finish line first in each heat win a special prize for first place.

As part of the event, the Hardcore Historian and Team History Heats racers and drivers will have access to an exclusive after-party with limited space at a local pub. Participants must register for the after party as space is limited.
