CHATHAM / SAULT STE. MARIE, MI – James William “Bill” Hawley, 80 years previous, from Sault Ste. Marie, and previously from Chatham, died early Friday morning on September 24, 2021 within the emergency room of the Conflict Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie.
He was born on January 10, 1941 in Marquette to Pee Wee and Jeanette (Dennis) Hawley. Invoice grew up in Eben and graduated from Eben Excessive Faculty in 1959. He served within the US Marine Corps from February 1961 to February 1965. Invoice returned to Munising after serving with the Marines and labored for CCI for 22 years. Marie and Derek Hawley of Chatham; Grandchildren – Autumn Decker, Jacob Mahoski, Lorena (Isaac) Cole, Izaak Mahoski, Brennan Nobles, Whitney and Braden Hawley, Kaylee Savola, Evan Stevenson, Chevi Savola, and Cyrus Savola; Nice-grandchildren – Kanye and Kendrick Cole and Aurora Moreland; Siblings – Joe (Phyllis) Hawley from Chatham, Ann (Rusty) Atherton from Gladstone, Susie (Ron) Dittmer from Vancouver, WA, Bob (Donette) Hawley from Oxford, MI, and Duane “Chick” (Gina) Valley of the Limestone.
Invoice preceded his mother and father and brothers in loss of life – Frank Hawley and Tom (Kitty) Hawley.
Companies will probably be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 on the Bowerman Funeral House in Munising.
