VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) – Flames burned about an acre west of Freeway 14 on Wednesday after an SUV caught hearth below Interstate 205.
The crews reacted round 6:50 p.m. and located a pink Cadillac Escalade that was utterly on hearth. Firefighters stated the fireplace unfold to the close by grass, went up the north shoulder and reached about an acre in dimension.
A water tender was known as to the scene however later recalled after crews tried to extinguish the grass hearth with the water they carried on their hearth engines.
The proprietor of the SUV admitted to the fireplace division that the automobile had identified mechanical issues.
